Weekly flow #023
The five tibetian rites, why HRV Is the new longevity obsession and a classic murakami novel
SUNDAY, 10 MAY 2026
Happy sunday everyone.
it’s 10pm where we are. it’s 4pm in New York City. it’s 11am in Tokyo.
your sunday evening is someone else’s monday morning.
while you’re making tea, someone is catching the last subway home in Seoul.
it’s dark outside here. in Los Angeles, golden hour is just starting.
somewhere in Copenhagen, someone is reading at a café by candlelight.
in Lisbon, dinner is only just beginning.
someone in Mexico City is going for their morning run right now.
in Paris, a couple is still sitting outside drinking wine.
somewhere in Melbourne, the day has already started again.
Have a beautiful week. We’re all connected.

The practice
The five Tibetan rites
The five Tibetan rites are a short sequence of movements often described as a kind of moving meditation — designed to support energy, mobility and mental clarity.
The practice takes only 10–15 minutes and combines breathing with five repetitive exercises that engage the entire body. think of it as a reset for stiff mornings, low-energy afternoons or overstimulated minds. The best way to start: don’t overthink it.
Watch a simple guided video, begin slowly with a few repetitions of each movement, and stay consistent for the coming week.

A product, we loved
Murray River Salt Flakes
Good salt changes everything. Murray River Salt Flakes from Australia have a soft texture and clean, mineral-rich taste that somehow makes even the simplest meals feel (and taste) way better. Flaky, delicate and slightly pink, the kind of small kitchen upgrade you will be happy about.

A book we loved
Kafka on the shore by Haruki Murakami
This week, we’re going for a simple, but truly classic normal. It’s one of those books that pulls you into its own world completely. Strange, dreamlike and deeply reflective — Kafka on the Shore moves between reality and surrealism in a way only Haruki Murakami can. A story about loneliness, identity, fate and growing up, but also the kind of book you read more for the feeling than for the plot itself.
